I developed (pardon the pun!) an interest in photography when I was at school and studied GCSE Photography.  We used manual SLR cameras then; big bulky things, and I had to learn all about F stops and apertures and lighting and manual focusing etc. I also did some work experience as a photo-journalist; I mainly did feelgood stories: Doris and Bert’s 90th wedding anniversary or a feature on re-homing a scruffy mongrel call Huck – he needed some luck. And yes, I did use a rhyme in the story title. Not even sorry 🙂

Anyway, here are some of my favourite snaps of some my favourite places and things – using just an iPhone. This gallery will get updated regularly, as I just can’t resist as I really do love where I live.  More here on Instagram.
